Falcons’ followers have been chanting that long before Hamilton fans made it popular. Our Falcons play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in the last football game in the Georgia Dome, before it’s torn down to make way for a new stadium.
This is so exciting!
These two teams faced off against each other in November, and the Falcons squeaked by with a win, 33-32. I am confident that they will come away an even bigger victory this weekend, and go on to represent us this February at the Super Bowl.
I am so confident that I have made a friendly wager with Troy Streckenbach, County Executive of Brown County, WI, home of the Green Bay Packers.
If the Packers win the game then I will send up several cases of Atlanta-brewed Coca-Cola, peach cobbler from Paschal’s Restaurant, and chili dogs from The Varsity. If the Falcons win – as I am sure they will – Troy will send down bratwurst, beer, and cheese. I have heard so many good things about Wisconsin’s cheese, and I look forward to eating some next week.
Make sure to get together with your family, friends, and diehard Falcons’ fans this February 5th to show your support. We are so proud of our hometown team. Win or lose, we have so much to be proud of!
I say it again, “Rise Up!”
