Dr. Nazeera Dawood received her medical doctor degree from Bangalore University in India and her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She worked as a research project manager at Emory University for 5 years and was recognized as the 2010-2011 ‘We are Emory, 100 Community Builders’.  On Oct 1, 2014, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners proclaimed it to be “Dr. Nazeera Dawood Appreciation Day.” Nazeera is currently the President  for the South Asian Public Health Association (SAPHA). Nazeera believes in galvanizing the energies and empowering all citizens to collectively improve community health.

Special projects include HIV/AIDS Task Force, Commercial Sexual Exploitation Task Force, Fulton Interfaith Council

 

Gloria Neal
Special Assistant to the Chairman for Community Outreach


Gloria Neal is the Special Assistant to the Chairman for Community Outreach. Gloria Neal is an award winning multi-media journalist whose versatility in the community, on television, on radio, as well as in print has made her a much sought after talent. Gloria coordinates partnerships with community leaders, as well as serves as a liaison between professional, business and civic groups for the chairman.  In addition, she recommends strategies for promoting programs and services. Prior to Chairman Eaves’ office, Gloria was the weekday morning and noon news anchor for WCGL, CBS 46 in Atlanta.

Venus Willis comes with great administrative skills and will be assisting with all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics, scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities.
